Terms of Use

Last updated: 24 Oct 2026

The short version. This website is general information about what we do. It is not advice, and it is not an offer that binds us. Paid work only starts when you and we sign a separate engagement agreement.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of connectedcommons.co (the "Website"), operated by RFTechstuff Pte Ltd as Connected Commons / Connected Commons Pte. Ltd.] ("Connected Commons", "we", "us"). By using the Website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

These terms cover the Website only. If you become a client, our services are governed by a separate written engagement agreement ("Engagement Terms"). If anything in that agreement conflicts with these terms, the engagement agreement wins for the services it covers.

2. Information only, not advice

Content on the Website, including our deck, scenarios, examples and any figures, is general information and is illustrative unless it says otherwise. It is not legal, tax, accounting, financial, immigration or regulatory advice, and you should not rely on it as such. Get advice from a suitably qualified professional for your situation.

Connected Commons is not a law firm, accounting firm, licensed corporate service provider or financial adviser. Regulated work, for example company incorporation filings and company secretarial services, is carried out by licensed third-party partners, and those services are subject to the partner's own terms.

3. No guarantee, no binding offer

Nothing on the Website is a guarantee of any outcome, timeline or approval, including approvals by banks, regulators or other third parties, which are outside our control. Prices, descriptions and availability on the Website may change and do not form a contract. A contract for services exists only when both parties have signed an engagement agreement.

All prices on the Website are stated in the currency shown and exclude any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We work only with businesses that have a genuine commercial reason to be in Singapore. We may decline or end any enquiry or engagement where we cannot satisfy ourselves of that.

5. Chatbot and automated responses

The Website includes an AI-powered chatbot that answers general questions and may collect details about your business. Its answers can be incomplete or wrong, are not advice and do not create any commitment from us. Please do not enter sensitive personal data into it. Chats are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The Website, including its text, branding, logo, design, deck and other materials, belongs to Connected Commons or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view the Website and download materials we make available for download, such as the services deck, for your own internal business use. You may not copy, modify, republish or sell them, or use our name or logo, without our written permission.

If you send us feedback or ideas, you agree we may use them to improve our services without obligation to you.

The Website links to or uses third-party services, such as Google Calendar, WhatsApp and LinkedIn. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms.

8. Disclaimers and limits of liability

The Website is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not promise that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Connected Commons is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Website. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Privacy and cookies

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, and how we use cookies in our Cookie Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms and the Website at any time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. By continuing to use the Website after a change you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the Website, except where the law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. A person who is not a party to these terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce any of them.
